Desert Festival is the best showcase, one can ever want to
view the rich and colorful and rich culture of the desert
region of Rajasthan. The major attractions of the festivals
are Gair and Fire dancers who wear vibrant and brightly
colored costumes as they dance and sing and perform on the
regional tunes that are mainly based on the ballads of
tragedy, valor, and romance of the local heroes. Along with
these folk performers are snake charmers, puppeteers, and
acrobats. The ship of the desert camels, of course earn
their special place in the festival and camel rides are
quite popular here. Camel polo and camel dance are two
unique feature events of the fair just as the turban tying
competition and display of the most glorious moustaches. The
thing to note here is that turbans and mustaches are
considered symbols of honor in the region. There is also a
Mr. Desert contest that further enhances the fun of the
occasion.
Day 01 Arrival at Delhi
You will be received at the Indira Gandhi International
Airport in Delhi from where you will get the transfer to the
hotel for overnight stay. You will get the tour details once
again at dinner.
Day 02 Old Delhi
Explore the Old Delhi after breakfast. The highlights of the
day are Red Fort; a rickshaw ride in the narrow streets of
Chandani Chowk, which is an old market where you can taste
delicacies and do shopping; Jama Masjid and Raj Ghat.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03 New Delhi
View the treasures for New Delhi designed by Lutyens in
British era as a well-planned city and wide roads. See
Rajpath that leads you from war memorial India Gate to
Rashtrapati Bhawan, Mughal Gardens, Embassies and modern
market of Connaught Circus. You will also see Qutub Minar,
Iron Pillar of Mehrauli and Humayun's Tomb. Spend the
evening at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04 Agra
In the morning, drive to Agra, where you will check in at
the hotel for arrival. Visit the white marble Taj Mahal
famous all over the world Agra Fort, Idmad-ud-Daulah's Tomb
and Sikandra. Overnight stay at hotel in Agra.

Day 05 Jaipur
Drive to Jaipur, the Pink City, in the morning. Go in an
excursion trip to Amber Fort and enjoy the regal elephant
ride there. Shish Mahal, full of mirror work and Palace of
Maharaja Man Singh, who had twelve queens are just two of
the chief attractions of the fort. Overnight stay at the
hotel.
Day 06 Jaipur
Go on a sightseeing tour of Jaipur, the Pink City, after
breakfast. The highlights of the tour will be 18th century
astronomical observatory known as Jantar Mantar with huge
masonry instruments that are accurate to this day, the City
Palace of the Maharaja of Jaipur, which serves as a private
residence, heritage hotel and the royal palace museum
offering a rich collection of paintings, costumes, jewelry,
arms and ammunitions. Savor the traditional Rajasthani
cuisine served in traditional Rajasthani style at lunch.
Spend the evening at leisure or go for shopping in the
colorful bazaars to look for some souvenirs to buy.

Day 07 Ajmer
In the morning, drive to Ajmer, where you can visit the holy
Dargah Sharief or tomb of the great Sufi saint Khwaja
Moin-ud-din Chisti and Akbar's Palace, where Sir Thomas Roe
had obtained permission from Emperor Jehangir to trade with
India, which proved to be a grave political error later.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 08 Jodhpur
In the morning, drive to Jodhpur where you will check in at
the hotel for overnight stay. Get a glimpse of harsh and
barren desert land on the drive. Pay a visit to the Jain
Temple complex of Ranakpur enroute.
Day 09 Jaisalmer
Drive to Jaisalmer in the morning, where you will check in
at the hotel. Visit the oldest living for of Jaisalmer, its
famous ornate Havelis that have beautiful carvings, Gadisar
Lake, the annual Desert Festival with several events such as
cultural, dance, song and music folk performances, camel
races and unique contests and sunset views of Sam Sand
Dunes. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10 Khimsar
After breakfast, drive to Khimsar, where you will check in
at the hotel. See the Khimsar Fort, which has massive and
huge walls and many structures and monuments within its
premises that are worth a visit. Overnight stay at the
hotel.
Day 11 Bikaner
Drive to Bikaner and check in at the hotel on arrival. Visit
the Junagarh Fort and Camel Breeding Farm and other palaces
and parks in the city. Savor the famous Bikaneri snacks and
sweets. Overnight stay at the hotel in Bikaner.
Day 12 Shekhawati
Drive to Shekhawati region, where you will check in at the
hotel for overnight stay. Visit the painted Havelis of rich
merchants in the region with some stunning frescoes and
Mandawa Fort. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 13 Delhi
After breakfast, drive back to Delhi and check in at the
hotel. Go for shopping in Connaught Place and Palika Bazaar
or spend the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay
at hotel.
Day 14 Departure From Delhi
In the morning, you will get the transfer to the Indira
Gandhi Airport, from where you can catch the flight to
