Morning, excursion to Amber Fort, the ancient capital of the
state until 1728. Visit the Jagmandir or the hall of victory
glittering with mirrors, Jal Mahal and Temple of Kali. Ascend on
elephant back, the hill on which the fort is situated. Drive
past Hawa Mahal , the palace of winds and through the pink rose
residential / business areas of Jaipur and the market area of

Morning, drive to Deogarh. Arrive Deogarh & check in at hotel.
The Deogarh Castle is located on a hillock and is encircled by
the town. It was built in 1670 ad by Rawat Dwarkadas Ji of the
Chundawat clan of the Sisodia Dynasty. Constructed by the famed
Sompura architects, well-known for their additions and
alterations were carried out according to the needs of the
residents. There are five floors and over 200 rooms have murals
done by local painters after whom Deogarh school of painting has
acquired fame the world over. The family has a large collection

Singh, the youngest son of Maharaja Umaid Sing Ji of Jodhpur. It
is an imposing and well maintained structure over a hundred
years old built of famous red sand stone of Jodhpur and ornately
carved lattice work, friezes and intricate jharokhas. Its
traditional gates lead to a complex of courtyards, towers, water
wheels stables, passages and unexpected stairways leading to
secret pavilions and panoramic terraces.
The small village is home to many artisans who work with metal,
clay or wood, keeping alive the skills passed down over the
centuries by their ancestor. The noise and bustle of the village

Khimsar is steeped in history- founded 2500 years ago by the
Jain Saint Mahaveer, this is the starting point of the great

15th century was Prince Karamsi, son of Jodhpur and very close
